On the upcoming season of Desperate Housewives, Eva Longoria Parker's character will turn into an exhausted homemaker with two kids. In real life, the actress is looking forward to having her own children with husband Tony Parker.
"I can't wait!" Longoria Parker, 33, told PEOPLE Monday after a press conference announcing the 2008 Alma Awards.
Pregnancy rumors began anew after she was photographed off the coast of Italy in a bikini looking slightly fuller than normal in early July. But her rep has said the actress put on weight to play the part of Gabrielle this season.
The 2008 Alma Awards air on ABC on Sept. 12 and highlight the work of Latino actors in film and television. Longoria Parker, the host and executive producer of the show, attended Monday's Alma announcement with actor Cristián de la Fuente.
Eva Longoria Parker took time to dish out Frostys and french fries at a Wendy's on Tuesday. The "Desperate Housewives" star worked the drive-thru at the restaurant to help kick off the Father's Day Frosty Weekend, an event that donates 50 cents for every Frosty sold to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and its signature program Wendy's Wonderful Kids.
Longoria Parker worked at Wendy's from 1991 to 1994, the Corpus Christi Caller-Times reported in its online edition.

Eva and BFF Mario Lopez teamed up with the producers of the new E! tv show "Pop Fiction" to play the media, paparazzi, and bloggers.
The two went shopping together, then had lunch, where Mario presented Eva with a necklace. The gift was in celebration of the opening of her new restaurant, Beso, but the tabloids continued to assume that it's because something is going on between Eva and Mario.
Gotcha!
Pop Fiction will re-air many times throughout the week. Visit the show website for more info.
