Eva and BFF Mario Lopez teamed up with the producers of the new E! tv show "Pop Fiction" to play the media, paparazzi, and bloggers.
The two went shopping together, then had lunch, where Mario presented Eva with a necklace. The gift was in celebration of the opening of her new restaurant, Beso, but the tabloids continued to assume that it's because something is going on between Eva and Mario.
Gotcha!
Pop Fiction will re-air many times throughout the week. Visit the show website for more info.
Chef Todd English knows a lot about Mediterranean cooking. But he's going to have to learn pick his words carefully as he opens Hollywood's Beso restaurant with celebrity friend and partner, Eva Longoria Parker.
"It's been a long pregnancy," says English, explaining the process of setting up a fine-dining restaurant. But when it's pointed out that he has to watch statements like that dealing with Parker, he answers, "You're right, I have to be careful about things like that. Sorry." But standing behind the bar at Beso as he prepared for Thursday's grand opening, he can't help but go back to the baby place again. "It's happening," he says. "We are birthing the baby."
With the screenwriters' strike over, Eva Longoria-Parker is returning to Wisteria Lane – and getting back in shape.
"We're back and it's like we never left," Longoria-Parker told PEOPLE Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles while accepting a donation for the children's cancer charity, Padres Contra El Cancer. "We were such a well-oiled machine before we broke so stop was jolting."
Having dismissed pregnancy rumors in January by pointing to her strike-induced indulging, the Desperate Housewives star is back to her work health regiment.
"I'm working out, I'm eating my healthy food I get prepared," she said with a sigh. "It is so much easier being in shape when you're on the show because you have a chef and the gym is right there, so you really have no excuse."
